When customers view proposals, we track view counts, view duration, and the date/time of views to provide you with analytics about proposal engagement.

Your data will be retained as long as you use our app and maintain an active Shopify store with Propose installed. Upon uninstalling the app, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for reinstallation, after which it may be permanently deleted. Upon request, we can delete your data sooner, subject to applicable legal requirements.

7. Shopify Data Handling

As a Shopify app, we adhere to Shopify's API Terms of Service and data handling requirements. We only request access to the Shopify data scopes necessary for our app to function (currently: read_products and read_customers). We process and respond to Shopify mandatory webhooks for customer data requests, customer data erasure, and shop data erasure in compliance with Shopify's requirements.

8. Customer Data (End Users)

If you are a customer who received a proposal from a merchant using Propose:

• Your data (name, email, any comments or signatures you provide) is collected on behalf of the merchant who sent you the proposal.
• You can unsubscribe from reminder emails using the link provided in those emails.
• For data deletion requests, please contact the merchant directly, or reach out to us and we will facilitate your request.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our app uses essential cookies and local storage to maintain your session and provide core functionality. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. When customers view proposals, we use server-side tracking to record views without placing tracking cookies on their devices.
